Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge 2/ Mojo Monday 79

I thought I would combine two challenges today - Dawn McVey's second week of the Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge and the sketch from this weeks Mojo Monday.

I don't have any teal cardstock or paper so I subbed Ocean Tide from Papertrey instead and stamped the flowers from Floral Frenzy in chocolate and celery with a touch of aqua blue. The paper is from the Bitty Dot paper pack and a touch of spring moss ribbon to finish. I thought it came out clean and fresh and will definately use these colours again!

Monogrammes for Mother's Day

I was hard at work last week making sets of monogrammed notecards for my Mum (Cynthia) and Mother in Law (Patricia) as gifts for Mother's Day on Sunday.

I also made matching boxes to hold them but I am camera challenged and couldn't fit them in.

The monogram stamps are by JustRite and the first two use Papertrey papers, ribbons etc and this third set for my Mum's friend uses all Anna Griffin.

Raspberry Suit Colour Challenge1

Dawn is hosting her first colour challenge over on her blog this week and as I just got my Damask stamp set I had to give it a go. It turned out to be an expensive arrival though as I got stung by customs :( I gave myself the extra challenge to make a sympathy card for a fellow crafter but was a bit worried that too much raspberry and yellow might not be appropriate so I clear embossed onto the chocolate card and so kept it clean and simple. My DD would have loved a bedroom like the photo - we need a Pottery Barn over here I think!

All the supplies are by Papertrey.

Trees for Dad

It's my Dad's birthday next Sunday but as they are off to sun themselves in Gran Canaria in the next few days for a couple of weeks so they can have a good rest I gave this to him today when they came for tea.

It's a simple card as my Dad doesn't do fussy but I jazzed it up a bit with some gold mirri card. The stamp is Lovely as a Tree by Stampin Up and the paper is the new Bitty Dots from Papertrey.

Raspberry Fizz Mother's Day

It's Mother's Day this Sunday and I have both sets of parents coming over for a real old fashioned high tea- it will be great to have everyone here together.

I have two sets of monogrammed notelets in the making for both Mum's but in the meantime here is the card for my dear Mum. She loves pink and pearls so I hope she will like this one made with Papertrey raspberry fizz and dark chocolate card, raspberry fizz ink along with a bit of sparkle.

Sugar Nellies

This is Daisy - isn't she sweet? I don't really think of myself as doing cute but I like these images from Elisabeth Bell at Sugar Nellies. Suagr Nellies is a small Scottish company - really worth checking out.

This first one I made for a friend's birthday this weekend using Stampin Up papers and flowers from the Pretties kit, Bazzil cardstock and Copic markers to colour her with.

With this next one I was trying to make her a bit less fussy and less "like a cutain card" as my DD calles some of my cards! I have so much paper that I'm on a mission to use more of it- I can't remember who this one is by but it's nice and bright and cheerful.

Daisy - funny that's the name of our dog too - is coloured with Copic markers again and it's dressed up with some hardware from Stampin Up.

Mojo Monday 75

Well more like Mojo Saturday! I don't get much chance to craft during the week but I think I might get this in before it's Monday all over again!

I often look at the layouts on Mojo Monday and this one spoke to me for some reason - I still think it's missing something but maybe I'll get it out in a couple of days and add something.

The paper is Bella Rosa by Stampin Up and the tulips are from a Gink K set callled A Year of Flowers. I coloured the tulips with Copics and added some little half pearls. I'm sure I'll find room for a sentiment somewhere!
