Can you imagine waking up to this view from your bedroom window every day? I have just spent a long weekend on Skye with my friend Lorry and her husband Richard who have the most beautiful house and B&B http://rosebank-skye.co.uk/ on the edge of the Loch in Straun. Crafting with Lorry and friends Sam and Al was such fun, and raiding Lorry's most incredible stash of goodies nearly sent me to heaven.
Here is just one of the cards I made whilst there for forum friend Gillian's birthday, using alcohol inks for the first time. More creative work to follow as everythng I made has someones name on it!

Awwww I am sorry I missed this ... I would have loved it..
Beautiful card again Chris .. lots of lovely work .. :-)
Beautiful alcohol inking! And I like the way you've kept the main image simple so it doesn't overtake the background.
Skye is such a gorgeous place, the card is gorgeous :o)
It's beautiful Chris.
the alcohol inks look fab. I wouldn't have had you down as an alcohol nk type, but this is stunning.
Glad you had such a lovely time with Lorry and by the sounds of it came away with a shopping list too lol!
Great card!
Oh really beautiful
I'm very impressed with your alcohol inking, Chris. The background works beautifully with the images.
And it was great to not only see you again Chris but such fun to craft with you (especially watching you craft AND dance to ABBA LOL!!!)
Beautiful card Chris!
It was so lovely to meet you at last Chris and have such a great time crafting with you - and like Sam said, watching you dance, sing and stamp all at the same time!!! This card is as gorgeous as I remember it, and you were much braver than I was tacking those alcohol inks!
